Bellwether Enterprise Appoints Patton Executive Vice President, National Director of Agency Relationships
Bellwether Enterprise Real Estate Capital LLC hired Jeff Patton as Executive Vice President and National Director of Agency Relationships based in Birmingham, Ala.
Patton will work closely with Bellwether Enterprise’s executive team in three main areas: partnership with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, agency sales production and agency structuring.
With nearly 30 years of experience in commercial real estate finance, Patton has worked on the direct production, underwriting and management of teams that have delivered nearly $20 billion of debt for multifamily transactions nationwide. His experience includes several hundred million dollars of debt originations on manufactured home communities and affordable housing transactions as well as almost $1 billion of senior housing production.
Patton’s career began at Collateral Real Estate Capital, where over the course of 15 years he moved through the firm to become director of agency production and underwriting, managing the entire platform, including conventional, seniors and affordable housing and ultimately becoming a partner at the firm.
Berkadia Adds Boris as Managing Director in Milwaukee
Berkadia announced it added Managing Director James Boris to its Milwaukee mortgage banking team. In this role, he will focus on originating HUD-insured financing for seniors housing and multifamily apartments.
Boris is the most recent addition to Berkadia’s newly established Milwaukee office. Senior Managing Director Mark Dellonte and Director of Operations Amy Barry launched the office in May and Senior Analyst Bill O’Connor joined the team in July.
Boris has arranged more than $800 million in FHA-insured and related conventional healthcare and multifamily financings for both for-profit and not-for-profit borrowers, representing more than 15,000 units located throughout the U.S. He has also developed, financed, owned, operated and sold numerous seniors housing and assisted living and memory care communities. He has worked in partnership with multiple real estate development and investment companies as well as independently.
Boris previously served as Founder and CEO of American Mortgage Solutions, LLC, originating and funding FHA-insured loans nationwide and as Vice President of FHA Lending for Arbor Commercial Mortgage LLC, where he supervised Arbor’s national FHA multifamily apartment and healthcare financing division. Prior to that he was, Vice President and Manager-Insured Loans at GMAC Commercial Mortgage Corp., where he specialized in arranging and closing FHA-insured financing throughout the U.S.
