Guild Joins Grandbridge Real Estate Capital
Grandbridge Hires Guild as Originator in Norfolk, Va.
Grandbridge Real Estate Capital announced Jeff Guild joined the company’s Norfolk, Va., commercial loan origination team as an assistant vice president.
In his new role, Guild will originate commercial and multifamily loans for real estate transactions. He previously served as Vice President of Debt and Structured Finance at CBRE-Hampton Roads.
Stavile Joins Venable’s New York Real Estate Practice as Counsel
Venable LLP announced Patrice Stavile joined the firm’s Real Estate Practice as counsel in the New York office.
Stavile’s practice includes real property acquisitions, sales, and financing; corporate formation and joint venture formation; retail leases, license and distribution agreements; office leases, ground and net leases, and restaurant leases; and debt and corporate restructuring and real estate workouts. Prior to joining Venable she was general counsel to M1 Real Estate and Façonnable USA, where she represented these companies in real property and retail and commercial transactions in the United States and overseas.
Martin Joins Avison Young in Philadelphia
Avison Young hired Scott Martin as a Principal with a mandate to grow the company’s greater Philadelphia medical office service-line coverage.
Martin will provide office-tenant representation, landlord representation and investment sales services within the specialized greater Philadelphia and New Jersey health care property niche. He has more than 15 years of commercial real estate experience, most recently as a Senior Vice President with Markeim-Chalmers Inc., where he executed leasing and sales transactions on behalf of clients based in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
During his time with Markeim-Chalmers, Martin led the firm’s office and investment group while focusing on tenant representation, landlord representation and investment sales. Prior to joining Markheim-Chalmers in 2007, he worked at Grubb & Ellis, now Newmark Knight Frank.
