Walker & Dunlop Hires Pratt for Multifamily Small Loans Team
Walker & Dunlop, Bethesda, Md., appointed Christine Pratt Vice President on its small loans team based in Irvine, Calif. She will originate and review small balance loans.

Pratt previously served as a member of Freddie Mac’s Small Balance Loan production team.

NXT Capital Appoints Teetsel to Lead Western U.S. Originations
NXT Capital, Chicago, appointed Jeff Teetsel to lead real estate originations in the western U.S.

Teetsel joined the company in 2013 as an originator in the Arizona market. Previously, he owned Teetsel Properties, where he was the development partner for a large mixed-use development. He was previously Southwest Regional Manager for Fremont Investment & Loan and its successor iStar Inc., where he focused on bridge debt originations, closing more than 100 transactions totaling over $2.5 billion.

NXT Capital provides non-recourse floating-rate first mortgages between $15 million and $75 million on value-add transactions.

Cushman & Wakefield Hires Eight
Cushman & Wakefield has added to its Valuation & Advisory team in the western U.S. by hiring eight new property appraisal professionals based in San Francisco and Sacramento, Calif. The firm has also added new team members in Denver, Salt Lake and Seattle.

The new hires included:
Director Trent Baudais, who returned to Cushman & Wakefield with more than 15 years of commercial real estate experience in both regional and international valuation. Most recently, Baudais was an independent commercial valuation contractor offering multi-state and multi-country services, as well as foreign real estate investor. He was formerly a director for Valuation & Advisory in Phoenix. He is based in San Francisco.

Associate Director Christopher Hymore, a certified general appraiser based in Denver. Most recently, he managed Blake & Assocs., LLC and oversaw the firm’s Kentucky operations. He brings experience in industrial, office, retail, farm, residential and land appraisal.

Associate Brian Bilzi returned to Cushman & Wakefield’s Salt Lake City office, where he was previously a research analyst and associate broker. Most recently, he was an analyst for Colliers International for the Utah Investment Team, specializing in sales and acquisitions of commercial properties throughout the state.

Associate Trevor Johnson joined the Sacramento office after spending more than a decade at Jackson Properties, where he was Senior Asset Manager and leasing agent for industrial and retail properties.

Associate Lyzabeth Cui joined Cushman’s Seattle office after working as a real estate investment producer and realtor at Keller Williams Realty for the past four years.

Associate Alex Smith joined the San Francisco office after working in the financial analysis division of Point Reyes Management.

Associate Austin Bengford joined the firm’s Denver office after working in the property management division of Fleisher Smyth Brokaw.

Associate Michael Edlund joined the Denver office after working in appraisal at McKissock.
