Phillips Realty Capital Hires Shaw
Phillips Realty Capital hired Malcolm Shaw as a managing director in its Bethesda, Md. headquarters. He will be part of the production team, structuring debt and equity financing for the privately owned mortgage banking firm’s commercial real estate clients.

Prior to joining PRC, Shaw served as a director at Ladder Capital Corp where he was responsible originated both balance sheet and fixed-rate securitized loans.

Thorofare Capital Hires Barreto
Thorofare Capital, Los Angeles, hired Denis Barreto Jr. as Director of Credit.

Barreto has more than 12 years of experience in underwriting commercial real estate. He most recently worked at Fifteen Group Capital LLC, Miami. Prior to that he spent seven years at Jamestown Properties in New York and Atlanta.

Transwestern Hires Healthcare Specialists Morris, Femiano
Transwestern Commercial Services hired Kate Morris and Vince Femiano to serve as Senior Vice Presidents and lead the firm’s Healthcare Advisory Services group in Phoenix.

Morris worked at Transwestern from 2005 to 2014 and Femiano from 2001 to 2014. Most recently, they served as First Vice Presidents at CBRE. Collectively, Morris and Femiano bring more than 50 years of healthcare real estate experience with clients including hospital systems, large physician groups and developers and investors in the medical office, senior housing and lab sectors.
