Love Funding Hires Forguson 
Love Funding, Washington, D.C., announced Eric Forguson joined the company as a Senior Director of Originations. He will work from the firm’s St. Louis office.

Forguson has more than 25 years of banking experience and expertise in historic tax credit and Low Income Housing Tax Credit transactions. He previously worked at Love Funding’s parent company, Midland States Bank, as Associate Director of Commercial Banking. There, he worked on the Midland States Bank – Love Funding bridge loan program and assisted with several tax credit equity bridge loan executions.

Before joining Midland States Bank, Forguson served as a vice president at Associated Bank and as a commercial relationship manager at US Bank.

Forguson serves as the vice chairman of the board of directors for the St. Louis Equity Fund, which is a St. Louis-based LIHTC syndicator.

Brickhouse Joins Walker & Dunlop’s Debt and Structured Finance Group

Walker & Dunlop, Bethesda, Md., hired Nicole Brickhouse as Vice President in its Debt and Structured Finance Group. She will source equity and debt financing for commercial real estate developers and owners throughout the United States.

Brickhouse served as Director at HFF prior to joining Walker & Dunlop. While there she closed real estate debt and equity transactions with a range of capital providers. In addition to structuring comprehensive deal terms, she also delivered market-related and deal-specific expertise to investment advisory teams.

Poirier Joins CBRE New England Leadership Team
CBRE, Los Angeles, announced Jodie Poirier joined the company’s New England leadership team as Managing Director. She relocated to Boston on January 1 to partner with the CBRE New England leadership team of Andy Hoar, Kevin Doyle and Steve Purpura.

Poirier has more than 15 years of experience in commercial real estate. As leader of CBRE’s South Bay Los Angeles operations, she oversaw the firm’s full spectrum of service offerings and was responsible for the strategic direction and growth of the business.

Poirier joined CBRE in 2015 as a director in the company’s Advisory & Transaction Services business for occupiers and worked with CBRE professionals nationally to pursue and win large, complex assignments. Prior to CBRE she was a Vice President at The Davis Cos. in Boston and was based in Boston during part of her time serving in a national role at Colliers.
