She noted the company’s pool of mortgage bankers and investment advisors spread across 30 offices as well as servicing data create “actionable” ideas to share with clients.

Provinse cited a focus on having the most efficient, effective and best origination process for making loans. “Is it easy, fast and do I get the best execution on the actual transaction?,” she said.

MBA recently appointed Provise as Vice Chair of its Origination Council. “The Origination Council is the way that MBA helps members better understand all the different liquidity sources out there as it relates to commercial real estate, as well as understand the issues facing any of those capital sources in an effort to provide ample liquidity to the market,” she said.

Provinse called the association’s research and information valuable, “as is the opportunity to create and disseminate best practices that benefit both members and the borrowers they serve,” she said.

Provinse engaged with MBA in her prior role with Fannie Mae and her current role at Berkadia. Berkadia originates commercial loans and sells commercial properties as well as services commercial loans. Last year the company reported more than $26 billion in originations, $8 billion in property sales and a $235 billion servicing portfolio.
