Colliers Appoints Nelson Global Occupier Services CEO
Colliers International Group, Toronto, appointed Scott Nelson CEO of Global Occupier Services effective immediately. 

In his new role, Nelson will focus on growing the number of multi-market transaction and project engagements across Colliers’ global platform.

Nelson joined Colliers in 2009 as President of Occupier Services for the Americas.

Meltzer, Katz and Martin join Avison Young in Washington, D.C. Area
Avison Young hired Glenn Meltzer, Robert Katz and Eugene Martin in the Washington, D.C. area.

Effective immediately, all three become Principals of Avison Young, focusing on office tenant and buyer representation and advisory services in the Washington Metro area and across the U.S. Meltzer and Katz will be based in Avison Young’s Washington, D.C. office and Martin will work out of the company’s Tysons office in Virginia.

Meltzer, Katz and Martin most recently worked with The Ezra Co., an exclusively tenant-focused commercial real estate firm in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, where Meltzer was president, Katz was executive director and Martin served as executive vice-president.

Meltzer brings 34 years of commercial real estate experience to Avison Young. During his career, he has focused exclusively on assisting clients with the tenant/buyer experience. His expertise is in the analysis, structure and negotiation of real estate transactions in lease, purchase, build-to-suit development and tenant-equity participation.

Katz brings 34 years of commercial real estate experience to Avison Young. At The Ezra Co., he specialized in tenant brokerage and consulting services both nationally and in the Washington metropolitan area. During his career, he has served tenants and buyers exclusively while being involved in all phases of the commercial real estate transaction process. He is recognized as a skilled negotiator in real estate markets across the country, assisting law firms, associations and corporations with local, national and international requirements.

Martin has 30 years of commercial real estate experience. During his tenure with The Ezra Co., he specialized in tenant consulting and brokerage activities, providing comprehensive deal analysis, creative strategies and negotiation services on behalf of tenants and buyers.
