Walker & Dunlop Appoints Chief Production Officer to Lead FHA Finance Team
Walker & Dunlop, Bethesda, Md., hired Stephanie Wiggins as Senior Vice President and Chief Production Officer of the FHA Finance team. She will oversee the production team for Walker & Dunlop’s multifamily lending through HUD.

Wiggins has more than 30 years of experience in commercial real estate finance and a specialty in healthcare, construction and affordable housing. She initially joined Walker & Dunlop as a Senior Underwriter in 1995. Prior to her return to Walker & Dunlop, Wiggins served as Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of AFL-CIO Housing Investment Trust, where she managed multifamily originations and operations with a focus on FHA and government sponsored enterprise executions. In this position, she was responsible for closing 256 transactions nationwide, for a total capital deployment of nearly $5 billion.

Previously, Wiggins served as Director and Senior Investment Officer at Prudential Mortgage Capital Co., managing the deal structure and underwriting processes for Fannie Mae Multifamily Affordable Housing transactions.

Avison Young Hires Haefner, Colson in Chicago Area
Avison Young hired industrial specialists Adam Haefner and Brian Colson in its Rosemont, Ill. office.

The pair will grow the firm’s industrial brokerage practice group across Chicagoland. Haefner will lead a team focused on representing landlords in the I-55, I-355 and I-80 submarkets. Colson will focus on the O’Hare and West Suburban submarkets.

Haefner and Colson bring 40 years’ combined commercial real estate brokerage experience to Avison Young. Most recently, Haefner was a director of brokerage services with Darwin Realty and Colson was an Executive Vive President with NAI Hiffman.
