CBRE Appoints Wallace President of Mountain-Northwest Division
CBRE promoted Joe Wallace to President of its Mountain-Northwest Division.
In this role, Wallace has executive oversight for the Bay Area, Sacramento/Reno, Seattle, Portland, Denver, Salt Lake City, Las Vegas and Albuquerque.
Wallace was previously executive managing director for CBRE’s Bay Area operations, which has six offices including the region’s flagship operations in San Francisco.
Wallace has more than 30 years of commercial real estate experience. Previously, he led CBRE’s Occupier Advisory and Transaction Services practice in the Washington-Baltimore region. From 2005 to 2006, he served as Senior Managing Director, co-managing CBRE’s Dallas office.
Prior to joining CBRE, Wallace served as chief executive officer and co-founder of the Preferred Group, LLC, a privately held Washington, D.C.-based office provider, which he built into a national platform. He also spent time at CarrAmerica Realty Corporation earlier in his career and was the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of HQ Global Workplaces, an international office solutions company with more than 400 locations globally, where he served from 1997 to 2004.
Wooster to lead JLL Central Region Workplace Strategy Practice
JLL, Chicago, appointed John Wooster as Vice President of Workplace Strategy.
Based in Chicago, Wooster will develop enterprise-wide workplace strategies that focus on improving employee well-being, productivity and engagement in order to achieve business goals and objectives. He will work with clients from multiple industries across the Midwest.
Wooster previously worked as a real estate strategist and change management leader for a large multi-national healthcare organization. Prior to joining JLL, he was Executive Director at Trustmark Companies, a national employee benefits firm, where he led a practice focused on enriching the workplace experience for a highly distributed and mobile workforce. Wooster also worked as a Workplace Strategist at DEGW, where he ran large-scale workplace projects for the technology, government and higher education sectors.
Nadel Architects Hires Gross as Multifamily Studio Director
Nadel Architects, Los Angeles, appointed Robert Gross Studio Director leading the firm’s multifamily division.
Based in Los Angeles, Gross has more than 30 years of experience in architecture and design, specializing in multifamily, residential mixed-use, hospitality, retail and attractions.
Gross is a licensed architect in California and New York. His notable projects include a 50-story mixed-use tower located at 825 South Hill Street, Eastown (originally named Blvd6200), a mixed-use residential project on Hollywood Boulevard with 1,024 residential units and 175,000 square feet of retail, Hotel Sherman Oaks and the W Hotel Times Square
Prior to joining Nadel, Gross served as a senior architect for Chris Dikeakos Architectural Corporation. His previous experience includes serving as a consultant for Coe Architecture International, TCA Architects and VTBS Architects.
