Freddie Mac Names Lansbury New Head of Multifamily Underwriting & Credit
Freddie Mac, McLean, Va., promoted Steve Lansbury to Senior Vice President of Multifamily Underwriting & Credit.
In this role, Lansbury will oversee all aspects of multifamily underwriting, including under Freddie Mac’s Conventional, Targeted Affordable Housing and Small Balance Loan offerings, as well as Risk Distribution and Credit Governance. He will also be the principal manager of the division’s underwriting and credit approvals for all multifamily debt investments.
Lansbury replaced Deborah Jenkins effective October 1. She will be promoted to Executive Vice President and head of the multifamily business effective January 1.
Lansbury joined Freddie Mac in 1998.
Mill Creek Promotes Prochnow to Senior Vice President of Property Management
Multifamily investor, builder and operator Mill Creek Residential, Dallas, promoted Steve Prochnow to senior vice president of property management.
Prochnow, who previously held the position of vice president of property management, started in his new role Sept. 10. As senior vice president of property operations, he is responsible for the day-to-day operating performance of the company’s communities, assisting with community transactions and pursuing operational goals designed to increase the value of the company’s communities.
Also a member of Mill Creek’s Audit and Administrative Committee, Prochnow joined the company in 2012 as a regional manager in Dallas. He was promoted to vice president of property management for the Texas, Mountain and Pacific Northwest regions.
Prior to joining Mill Creek, Prochnow served as a regional director for Verde Realty, where he was responsible for managing the operational activities of a portfolio of assets in Texas. Previously, Prochnow worked as a regional director for PRG Real Estate, where he was responsible for the day-to-day operations of a large, multi-state portfolio.
Bertrand Joins Transwestern
Transwestern, Houston, announced Kathleen Bertrand has joined the firm’s Agency Leasing group as Senior Vice President. She oversees leasing and marketing efforts for office projects in downtown Chicago.
Some of Bertrand’s most notable leasing assignments include Michigan Plaza at 205 and 225 N. Michigan, 500 W. Washington St., 1 North Dearborn Street, 125 S. Clark St., 20 W. Kinze St., and 224 N. DesPlaines St.
Bertrand, a 14-year veteran, came from MB Real Estate where she managed the office and retail leasing of 2.5 million square feet.
