Erin Berry Joins MBA as Associate Vice President of Legislative Affairs
The Mortgage Bankers Association hired Erin Berry as Associate Vice President of Legislative Affairs, responsible for representing MBA’s legislative and policy issues on Capitol Hill, with a primary focus on Democratic members of the U.S. Senate.
“Erin brings impressive Capitol Hill experience and a deep knowledge of real estate finance issues with her to MBA,” said MBA President and CEO David H. Stevens, CMB. “Her understanding of our issues and the political and legislative process will make her a critical part of the team serving our members’ interests.”
Berry most recently served as a Professional Staff Member for the Senate Banking Committee, with a focus on housing finance issues. Additionally she has worked for former Sen. Tim Johnson, D-S.D., where she was a Legislative Assistant on banking and housing issues; and former Rep. Dan Boren, D-Okla., as Senior Legislative Assistant.
