Arbor Appoints Lutz Executive Vice President, Chief Production Officer
Arbor Realty Trust, Uniondale, N.Y., appointed Frank Lutz as Executive Vice President and Chief Production Officer.
Lutz will oversee all Arbor’s agency lending platforms as it relates to business development and the firm’s expansive national production network and originations team. He joined Arbor with more than 25 years of multifamily agency experience.
Lutz joins Arbor from Berkadia where he spent the past seven years as Senior Vice President and Fannie Mae Liaison, managing Berkadia’s Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac production relationships. He served as the Chairman of the Fannie Mae Delegated Underwriting and Servicing Advisory Council.
Marcus & Millichap Promotes Ahadian to Senior Vice President Investments
Marcus & Millichap promoted Neema Ahadian to senior vice president of investments. Most recently, Ahadian held the position of first vice president of investments. He is also a senior director of the firm’s National Multi-Housing Group.
Ahadian began his career with Marcus & Millichap in September 2003.
Team of New England Commercial Real Estate Professionals Joins CBRE
CBRE announced a large group of commercial real estate professionals led by Steve Purpura has joined its New England operations.
The team included partners John Lashar, Jon Varholak, John Barry, Ron Friedman, Eric Smith, John Wilson, Brian McKenzie, Chris McCauley, Chris Skeffington, Brian Cohen and Vicki Keenan as well as support staff.
The 48-person team provides services across multiple disciplines including tenant advisory, agency leasing and capital markets serving both investors and occupiers throughout the region and across the country.
This team completed more than 9.1 million square feet in leasing transactions in Massachusetts during 2017, making it the region’s third-largest commercial real estate operations.
CBRE/New England will continue to be led by Co-Managing Partners Andy Hoar and Kevin Doyle.
Purpura, Varholak, Barry and Lashar along with Brian McKenzie and John Wilson were founding partners of Richards Barry Joyce & Partners in 2001.
Colliers Hires Amsterdam
Colliers International Group, New York, named David Amsterdam President of Investments, Leasing and Eastern Region USA. In his new role, Amsterdam will lead the Colliers team in large cities including New York, Boston and Washington D.C., advising investors, corporate users and landlords across the full spectrum of commercial real estate transactions, with added responsibility for managing and executing client mandates in critical global markets.
Amsterdam previously worked with both global brokerage and public REIT vehicles including leadership roles at SL Green and at Cushman & Wakefield.
