Bellwether Enterprise Appoints Martin Senior Vice President
Bellwether Enterprise Real Estate Capital appointed Anthea Martin Senior Vice President in its Denver office.
Martin has almost two decades of experience in loan origination and underwriting, with a track record in affordable housing and construction lending.
As Senior Vice President, Martin will work to arrange and secure competitive financing options for a wide-range of clients both in the region and across the country. Drawing on her expertise in Affordable Housing, as well as Department of Housing and Urban Development/Federal Housing Administration programs, Martin will report to Phil Melton, EVP & National Director of Affordable Housing & FHA Lending.
In her former role, Martin served as Vice President at Walker & Dunlop in Denver. In this role she specialized in loan origination for market-rate and affordable multifamily properties, with an emphasis on FHA/HUD, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. She also served as Senior Multifamily Accelerated Processing Underwriter and Vice President at CBRE and as a Principal Consultant at 5280 RE Solution, where she focused on affordable housing underwriting.
Marcus & Millichap Promotes Neema Ahadian to Senior Vice President Investments
Marcus & Millichap promoted Neema Ahadian to senior vice president of investments. Most recently, Ahadian held the position of first vice president of investments. He is also a senior director of Marcus & Millichap’s National Multi-Housing Group.
Ahadian began his career with Marcus & Millichap in September 2003.
Croul Will Head Red Mortgage Capital Small Balance Loan Platform
Scott Croul has been named Senior Managing Director and Head of Small Balance Originations for Red Mortgage Capital LLC.
Croul has 30 years of mortgage lending experience across all institutional property types with extensive background in multifamily lending. He joined Red from Freddie Mac Multifamily, where he was Senior Managing Director and head of production and sales for the western Region, responsible for the agency’s conventional multifamily business in the region and the region’s four production offices.
Prior to joining Freddie Mac Multifamily, Croul led regional operations at John Hancock Real Estate Finance Group and was a mortgage banker at predecessor companies to Berkadia, CBRE and Hunt Mortgage.
At Red, Croul will work to grow the company’s national Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae small balance lending platform, expand its national presence and position RED’s Small Balance Loan Group into an industry leader.
Kinsey Joins Avison Young in New York
Avison Young announced real estate investment sales specialist James Kinsey has joined the company as a principal.
Effective immediately, Kinsey becomes a Principal of Avison Young and Director of Tri-State Investment Sales. Based in New York City, he will focus on expanding the firm’s investment sales platform throughout the Tri-State area. He will also further the growth of the company’s structured finance platforms. Kinsey brings 15 years of commercial real estate experience to Avison Young, most recently as president of Kinsey Capital, LLC.
During his career, Kinsey has negotiated the sale or financing of more than $625 million worth of commercial properties.
Kinsey’s hire comes on the heels of the appointment of James Nelson as Head of Tri-State Investment Sales on February 5.
