LRES Hires Obregon as Commercial Appraisal Manager
LRES Corp., Orange, Calif., a residential and commercial real estate services company that provides nationwide valuations, REO asset management and HOA services, hired Frank Obregon as its commercial appraisal manager.
In this position, Obregon will lead the LRES commercial appraisal department, including managing the team’s operations. He will also oversee the development of the company’s commercial product line.
Obregon has nearly 40 years of experience in real estate. Before joining LRES, he served as director of commercial valuation for PCV Murcor, where he managed the team responsible for the production of appraisal reports and reviews. Prior to that position, he held a regional manager role with Ameriquest Mortgage.
Cushman & Wakefield Names Robinson Global CIO and EVP of Strategic Planning
Cushman & Wakefield named Nathaniel Robinson Global Chief Investment Officer and Executive Vice President of Strategic Planning. He will shape the firm’s business strategy and will allocate investment capital across the company.
Robinson brings more than 15 years of strategic planning and investment experience to the firm. Before joining Cushman & Wakefield in 2016, he was an Investment Partner at Virgo Capital, and worked in Morgan Stanley’s Global Technology Group where he advised leading software and internet companies on acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures.
Hospitality Ventures Management Group Names Wardner Director of Acquisitions and Financial Analysis
Hotel investment, ownership and management company Hospitality Ventures Management Group, Atlanta, announced Andy Wardner joined the company as director of acquisitions and financial analysis.
In his new role, Wardner will help evaluate and underwrite new hotel acquisitions and third-party management opportunities. He will also provide feasibility insight and perform valuation analysis for targeted opportunities which include independent and boutique hotels and resorts, as well as full-service, select-service and extended-stay hotels under the Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt and IHG brands.
Previously, Wardner was Managing Director of Paramount Lodging Advisors, where he brokered hotel transactions, particularly full-service hotels, and business development throughout the southeastern U.S. Prior to that, he held numerous positions with Starwood Capital Group, culminating in a vice president of asset management.
