MBA Names Holly Cannon VP for Human Resources
The Mortgage Bankers Association named Holly Cannon as Vice President for Human Resources. She assumed duties on July 2.
Cannon replaces Gene Neill, who retires on July 13 after a 37-year career at MBA.
“We are so pleased to welcome Holly and have no doubt that her ability, experience and education will serve her well in this new position,” said MBA President and CEO, David H. Stevens, CMB. “Holly has big shoes to fill, with Gene Neill retiring after 37 years at MBA, but I know she is the right person for the job and will be a great addition to the MBA team.”
Cannon has more than 20 years of human resources experience and comes to MBA from the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board, where she was responsible for implementing new initiatives in every major area of Human Resources: compensation and benefits, payroll systems, diversity and inclusion, employee engagement, employee orientation and health and wellness.
Previously, Cannon held positions with the Retired Person Services, AARP Pharmacy Service and COMSYS Technical Services. Cannon earned her Senior Professional Human Resources Certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute.
