JLL, Chicago, hired Sundar Nagarajan as Managing Director of Consulting and Business Intelligence Lead for Integrated Portfolio Services.
Based in Boston, Nagarajan brings more than 15 years of strategic consulting experience, with expertise in corporate real estate strategy, workplace productivity, process improvement/design, workplace transformation and change management. Most recently, he was a Managing Director at consulting firm Trascent Management Consulting, where he advised Fortune 500 companies on driving measurable results through corporate real estate strategies. He also spent 11 years at Deloitte developing data-driven strategies and effective operations for large, global clients.
Pierce Atwood Names Pappas Partner
Law firm Pierce Atwood, Portland, Me., named real estate attorney Matt Pappas a firm partner, based in Boston.
Pappas focuses his practice on commercial real estate, representing both lenders and borrowers. His experience includes structuring, negotiating and documenting commercial real estate acquisition and construction loans for clients that have financed commercial and multifamily condominiums, recreation facilities, office complexes, retail centers and manufacturing and warehouse facilities.
TruAmerica Multifamily Adds Three Directors
TruAmerica Multifamily added three people to its East Coast team: Senior Director of Asset Management Doug Kelley, Director of Asset Management Jeff Frederick and Director of Capital Improvements Ethan Pompey.
Kelley will oversee all property operations functions on the East Coast. Prior to joining TruAmerica, he was Vice President of Development for Snell Properties Inc. Previously, he was Director of Redevelopment and Asset Management at AvalonBay.
Frederick has more than 20 years of asset-management experience and joins TruAmerica from private investment firm Fifteen Group, Miami, where he served as Vice President of Asset Management. He also held similar roles with Metis Property Group and Franklin Street Real Estate Services.
Pompey will manage the $22 million capital improvement budget for TruAmerica’s 3,400-unit portfolio in Florida from the firm’s newly established Orlando office. With nearly 10 years of construction management experience, he will establish construction scopes and budgets, solicit bids, contract the jobs and oversee construction to its completion. Pompey previously served as Director of Construction at Pinnacle Property Management Services.
