Grandbridge Hires Fowler
Grandbridge Real Estate Capital hired James Fowler as senior vice president and production co-manager in its Newport Beach, Calif., loan origination team.

Fowler will partner with Grandbridge Senior Vice President/Office Co-manager Don Curtis, who joined Grandbridge last October. The duo previously worked together.

Fowler has more than 35 years of experience in the commercial real estate investment banking industry in all aspects of commercial real estate finance and mortgage banking including equity placement, bridge, construction and fixed rate debt with an emphasis on retail, office, multifamily, hospitality, seniors housing and industrial properties.

Prior to joining Grandbridge, Fowler served as a senior managing director and national co-head of Hospitality Debt Capital Markets for HFF. He also served as a principal and founder of US Realty Capital, a nationwide commercial real estate financial intermediary. Prior to forming US Realty Capital, Fowler served as the western regional manager for Merrill Lynch within their Real Estate Investment Banking platform.

PGIM Real Estate Finance Adds Younkin, Meyers to Multifamily Originations Team
PGIM Real Estate Finance has expanded its multifamily originations team with the additions of Robert Younkin and Garrett Meyers to its Western U.S. team.

PGIM Real Estate Finance is the commercial mortgage finance business of PGIM, the $1 trillion global investment management businesses of Prudential Financial Inc.

Both Younkin and Meyers are based in Los Angeles.

Younkin is responsible for managing agency loan production team expansion and development in the western U.S. in addition to growing the company’s multifamily loan portfolio. Meyers sources commercial real estate loans throughout the western U.S. with a focus on market-rate, manufactured and affordable housing.
Before joining the company in December 2017, Younkin was a vice president at PNC Real Estate, where he helped lead a high-volume agency origination team. He has originated, evaluated and approved more than $4 billion in multifamily loans over the course of his career, including acquisition, refinancing and new construction loans for market-rate, affordable and manufactured housing multifamily properties. 

Meyers also joined in December after serving as assistant vice president at PNC Real Estate, where he contributed to a high-volume Agency origination team that averaged $500 million in production annually. He has originated an array of transaction types, including new construction, rehabilitation, bridge, acquisition and refinancing, with career production volume over $3 billion.

Keefe Joins HFF as Director in Boston
Holliday Fenoglio Fowler, announced Patrick Keefe joined the firm as a director focused on debt and equity placement transactions in its Boston office.

Keefe has more than 10 years of experience in commercial real estate lending and joins HFF from M&T Bank where he was a vice president and relationship manager. Prior to M&T, he held similar roles at First Niagara Bank and TD Bank and was involved in nearly $1 billion of commercial real estate transactions during this time.

Keefe began his commercial real estate career as a financial analyst intern at CBRE Global Investors.
