The annual report describes MBA’s efforts in the past year as it represented its member through, advocacy, networking opportunities, news, data and leadership.

MBA noted several milestones in the past year:

–Membership has grown by 23 percent in the past five years.
–MBA appeared in more than 425 media stories in the past year.
–Nearly 20,000 real estate finance professionals attended MBA-sponsored conferences and events in 2017.
–MBA Education trained nearly 13,000 mortgage professionals through nearly 200 courses, awarding 40 Certified Mortgage Banker designations.
—MBA NewsLink and MBA Insights reached more than 60,000 industry stakeholders on a daily basis with news and information;
–The MBA Opens Doors Foundation raised more than $1.9 million in 2017
–mPower, MPact and the MBA Diversity and Inclusion Initiative made important strides in attracting and providing content for women, Millennials and minority real estate finance professionals.
