Lancaster Pollard Adds Zeiger as Managing Director to M&A Group
Lancaster Pollard hired Adam Zeiger as a managing director with the firm’s mergers and acquisitions group. He will lead business development efforts for the firm’s growing sell-side and buy-side advisory services for seniors housing and care properties.

Before joining Lancaster Pollard, Zeiger was most recently a senior investment officer at Care Capital Properties, Inc., where he led the development and implementation of investment and marketing strategy. Prior to that, he was a senior vice president of sales at GE Capital, where he was consistently a leading originator.

JLL Hires Burns as Smart Building Technology Director
As the demand for smart buildings continues to grow, JLL hired Dan Burns as Senior Vice President and Technology Strategy Director for its Smart Building Program.

Burns brings 25 years of experience in information technology, building automation and Internet of Things. He will oversee JLL’s technology and integration strategy to enable productive and profitable workplaces.

In his new role, Burns will shape the technology strategy and direction for JLL’s global Smart Building Program. He will work closely with clients to advise them on the value of technology as the enabler of a smart workplace, develop customized technology roadmaps, and oversee the design, integration and delivery of smart building projects. Additionally, he will serve as a technical advisor on JLL’s Global Internet of Things Operating Committee.

Burns joined JLL from Philips Lighting, where he oversaw all new product and service offerings for the North American Systems Center.

Prior to joining Philips Lighting, Burns held leadership roles at companies including MPC Energy, Boeing and Johnson Controls.

Cornelius joins NorthMarq Capital’s Salt Lake City Office
NorthMarq Capital hired Adam Cornelius in its Salt Lake City, Utah office as vice president.

In his new role at NorthMarq, Cornelius will originate, underwrite and close commercial real estate transactions involving both debt and equity solutions for clients, sourced through the entire capital stack. Cornelius works across all property type for the life of the loan, but focuses on multifamily properties with an affordable component.

Cornelius spent time at both Western Capital and later Marcus & Millichap as an originator.
