Greystone Real Estate Advisors Expands to Chicago
Greystone Real Estate Advisors, New York, hired William Montana and Christopher Sackley as Managing Directors overseeing multifamily sales advisory efforts in Chicago and the Midwest.
Prior to joining Greystone, Montana and Sackley co-headed the Multifamily Brokerage team at Brown Gibbons Lang & Co. As part of a specialty offering within a fully-integrated Capital Markets Group, the team established a multifamily advisory practice and generated $200 million in transactions within two years.
Before Brown Gibbons Lang, Montana and Sackley worked together at Cushman & Wakefield where they helped re-establish the company’s Midwest multifamily sales advisory platform. Montana held previous roles at NAI Hiffman, Hendricks & Partners and Draper & Kramer while Sackley served prior roles at CBRE, Savills Studley and UBS Global Asset Management.
Greystone also hired Shana Daby joined as a Managing Director and Deputy Chief Underwriter within the FHA lending team. She brings 14 years of real estate finance industry experience to Greystone and will focus on HUD affordable housing transactions, particularly in the western U.S.
Prior to joining Greystone, Daby was a Managing Director and Deputy Chief Underwriter at Barings Multifamily Capital LLC. She also held FHA underwriting roles at ACRE Capital LLC and CWCapital (acquired by Walker & Dunlop).
Love Funding Expands Origination Team by Hiring Tucker
Love Funding, Washington, D.C. hired Brad Tucker as a director of loan originations.
Tucker will be located in Overland Park, Kan. He joined Love Funding after working as an FHA originator for the last four and a half years at Berkadia and more recently at NorthMarq Capital.
Tucker’s FHA experience focused on market-rate multifamily and affordable transactions. He also underwrote FHA transactions at Grandbridge Real Estate Capital. He also worked as an analyst and underwriter on the commercial mortgage-backed securities side for KeyBank and as an asset manager for Cohen Financial.
Wagenaar Joins JLL in New York
JLL announced that Christi Wagenaar joined the firm as Executive Vice President. She will focus on real estate Mergers and Acquisitions, strategic advisory and private capital raising in the Americas.
Before joining JLL, Wagenaar was a Managing Director of Perella Weinberg Partners’ Real Estate Advisory practice, where she focused on M&A, strategic advisory and private capital raising.
