Geykhman Rejoins Venable LLP
Law firm Venable LLP announced that Julia Geykhman rejoined the firm’s Real Estate practice as counsel in New York.
Geykhman was most recently counsel at Thompson & Knight LLP. From 2014 to 2015, she worked as an associate at Venable after starting her career at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP.
Geykhman represents clients including property developers, equity investors, operators, purchasers, sellers, lenders and borrowers in all aspects of transactional commercial real estate. This includes all types of financing for borrowers and lenders at all levels of the capital stack including mezzanine, mortgage, commercial mortgage-backed securities and participations; acquisitions and dispositions; joint-venture formations, preferred equity arrangements and tenant-in-common structures; real estate investments; commercial leasing; real estate fund formation and fund-raising and restructurings and workouts related to all types of real estate assets.
Ceithaml Joins NBS Financial
Colin Ceithaml joined NBS Financial Services, Seattle, as a Financial Analyst for the Seattle loan origination team. He will satisfy clients’ capital needs through relationships with life insurance companies, conduits and other lenders.
Prior to NBS Financial, Ceithaml served as a Commercial Loan Analyst for Sunrise Mortgage and Investment Co. in Pasadena, Calif. He also supported a $2 billion loan servicing portfolio with property inspection reports and third-party vendor coordination.
Citro Joins Morningstar Credit Ratings LLC as Managing Director
Morningstar Credit Ratings LLC announced that Charles Citro joined the company as managing director of commercial mortgage-backed securities ratings and analytics.
Citro will lead Morningstar’s CMBS ratings and other commercial real estate ratings initiatives including managing and developing analytical staff, developing and maintaining CMBS and CRE ratings methodologies, criteria and models and leading the group’s effort in continuing to produce insightful analytical output.
