Berkeley Point Capital Hires Steffenino as Senior Managing Director
Berkeley Point Capital LLC, Bethesda, Md., added Ron Steffenino as Senior Managing Director – Servicing, Asset Management and Special Asset Management (Loss Mitigation). 

In this role, Steffenino will manage a rapidly growing $53 billion servicing portfolio with more than 2,900 loans in 49 states. He brings more than 28 years of experience in commercial real estate. 

Steffenino spent the last 19 years with Berkadia Commercial Mortgage, most recently as Senior Vice President of Operations and Special Servicing/Default Management. Throughout his tenure, he was responsible for more than 250 employees in the U.S. and at the firm’s offshore operation in India. Previously, he held various management positions in both the residential and commercial servicing operations for Fidelity Bond & Mortgage Co. 

Berkadia Grows Houston Footprint with New Office, Team Expansion
Berkadia relocated  its Houston  operations  to  accommodate  its growing  team  of  investment  sales  and commercial lending specialists.

The Houston Berkadia team relocated from a 6,200-square-foot space at 2200 Post Oak Boulevard to an 18,000-square-foot office at 2229 San Felipe Street on October 24. 

Berkadia’s  Houston  team  has  added nearly 30  new  professionals  over  the  past 18 months,  warranting  the  more  expansive office space for the larger team. The firm grew its  Houston presence  last  year  when  it  brought  on  debt  and  equity specialist Tucker Knight as Managing  Director and again early in 2016 when it hired Ryan Epstein and his eight-member multifamily investment sales team from a competitor.

Kroll Bond Rating Agency Hires Miller
Kroll Bond Rating Agency, New York, added Mark Miller as Senior Managing Director of Business Development and Sales. 
Miller has business development experience with Citi, Bank of America and most recently Blackrock. He spent 20 years at Salomon Brothers/Citigroup, where he was a Managing Director responsible for institutional distribution of fixed-income credit products. 

After Citigroup, Miller was a Managing Director at Bank of America responsible for global distribution of all fixed-income and equity market products. From 2009-2012, he was the Managing Partner at The Seaport Group, a fixed-income investment banking boutique specializing in high-yield, high-grade and distressed debt products. 

Most recently Miller was a Managing Director at Blackrock Inc. in the iShares division where he was responsible for institutional distribution of fixed income ETF’s.

Sisson Joins 1st Advantage Mortgage 
1st Advantage Mortgage, a Draper and Kramer company, hired Deena Sisson as Regional Vice President. 

Sisson, who has 28 years in the industry, joined 1st Advantage Mortgage from New Penn Financial. She is based in San Antonio, Texas.
