KeyBank Appoints Watzke Senior Vice President and Chief Underwriter
KeyBank Real Estate Capital, Cleveland, appointed Jeffrey Watzke as senior vice president and chief underwriter of the bank’s commercial mortgage-backed securities and investor placement origination operations.
Watzke will oversee underwriting and closing all multifamily and commercial loans originated for the CMBS and investor placement product segments.
Prior to joining Key, Watzke spent 15 years at Fitch Ratings, where he most recently served as senior director of structured finance for CMBS. In this role, he led transaction teams through the ratings process for large loan, single borrower and conduit/fusion CMBS transactions. He also served as a senior treasury analyst at G.E. Capital (formerly Heller Financial).
NorthMarq Capital Hires Ware in Las Vegas
Office Demetrius Ware joined NorthMarq Capital’s Las Vegas regional office as vice president and producer. He will structure and place debt and equity for clients seeking to acquire, refinance or develop commercial real estate properties.
Most recently, Ware served as vice president of Capital Markets for Walker and Dunlop’s Las Vegas office. Prior to this, he founded Ware Capital Advisors, which restructured/financed $350 million of debt.
Before Ware Capital Advisors, Ware served as senior director at Meritage Commercial Capital where he structured debt and equity in excess of $400 million.
Feinberg Joins Alliant
Michael Feinberg joined Alliant Insurance Services Real Estate Group as Executive Vice President, where he will deliver sophisticated risk management and insurance solutions to clients throughout the Northeast.
Prior to joining Alliant, Feinberg was Executive Vice President and a member of the national real estate practice of a global insurance brokerage. In this position, he provided consulting on firm’s insurance and risk management broker services while managing a robust national portfolio of real estate clients across multiple sectors. He also has experience as an underwriter with large carriers.
