Greystone Adds Denver-Based Cambridge Housing Partners

Greystone, New York, added a senior team from Cambridge Housing Partners, Denver.

The team specializes in Low-Income Housing Tax Credit and Project‐Based Section 8 communities nationwide and has a combined 50 years of experience in affordable housing redevelopment across 25-plus states. The group has managed all aspects of complex affordable housing transactions including originations, underwriting, project finance, property management, compliance, financial reporting, construction and resident services.

David Garcia, previously Managing Director of CHP, along with former principals Jeff Dean and Zach Chenault joined Greystone. The addition will enable Greystone to increase its industry relationships and acquisitions expertise in complex programs such as 4 percent LIHTC and tax-exempt bonds; 9 percent LIHTCs; project-based-Section 8 subsidies; AHP funds; CDBG/HOME funds, state tax credits; S&P rated 501(c)(3) bonds; and direct placement 501(c)(3) bonds as well as multiple types of credit-enhancements and conventional financing products. During their careers, Garcia, Dean and Chenault have acquired and developed more than 100 properties exceeding 13,000 units valued at more than $1 billion.

Holland & Knight Adds Real Estate Finance Partner Cicchetti in New York
Paul Cicchetti rejoined Holland & Knight in New York as a partner in the firm’s Real Estate Section. Cicchetti is a real estate finance attorney and focuses his practice on commercial real estate lending. Returning with him to Holland & Knight is Associate Marina Raynes. Both were previously with Polsinelli in New York.

Cicchetti has more than 25 years of experience originating and working out mortgage and mezzanine lending for portfolio lenders including life insurance companies and banks and securitized commercial mortgage-backed securities lenders and their special servicers. He has also advised on matters related to loan participations and intercreditor agreements, structured financing, loan servicing, workouts and foreclosures, and the disposition and acquisition of real estate projects. He has handled all aspects of financings, acquisitions, dispositions and development on major transactions involving commercial, retail, hotel, office, residential and mixed-use real estate projects.

Cicchetti was a partner with Holland & Knight from 2006 to 2008. Raynes was a real estate paralegal with the firm before attending law school.

Gallagher Joins Cushman & Wakefield
Cushman & Wakefield, New York, hired Lynda Gallagher as Senior Managing Director to lead the firm’s Valuation & Advisory group in Washington, D.C., Virginia, Maryland and West Virginia.

Working from Washington, D.C., Gallagher will be responsible for the oversight and leadership of the V&A group, including creating and implementing the growth strategy for the region.

With more than 25 years in the real estate industry, Gallagher has provided valuation services for properties including regional malls, lifestyle and outlet centers, urban retail, central business district and suburban office buildings, parking garages and mixed-use and special-use properties. Gallagher joined Cushman & Wakefield from National Property Valuation Advisors, Inc. where she served as a Director, providing valuation and consulting services to a variety of clients including pension funds, financial institutions, developers and corporations. Prior, she served as Executive Managing Director at Landauer, where she was responsible for portfolio management, quality control, due diligence, and appraisal services and served as the senior manager of the Midwest Region.

Immediately preceding her tenure at Landauer, Gallagher worked for CBRE for over a decade in Washington, D.C. and Chicago, co-founding and co-directing their Retail Valuation Group.
