Flinn Joins JLL as Managing Director
JLL, Chicago, announced that Jim Flinn joined the firm as managing director, based in Columbus, Ohio.
Flinn will bolster JLL’s affordable housing lending services, including securing Agency and Government-Sponsored Enterprise debt capital and creating new proprietary debt products. He will also structure debt for market-rate multifamily properties.
Flinn holds 17 years of multifamily financing experience and joined JLL from Red Capital Markets LLC, formally known as Banc One Capital Corp., a subsidiary of Bank One. There, he focused on affordable housing financing and originating FHA and GSE debt and held positions including underwriter, transaction originator and managing director.
Kirsch Joins Greystone
Jay Kirsch joined Greystone, New York, as a managing director. He will focus on producing small-balance loans across the Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae platforms.
Kirsch joined Greystone from Freddie Mac Multifamily, where he most recently served as asset management and operations client relationship manager for the Small Balance Loan Program. During more than seven years at Freddie Mac, he also held roles in underwriting, production and retained and securitized portfolio surveillance. Kirsch will be co-based in Rockville, Md. and Philadelphia.
Four Join Cushman & Wakefield/Commerce in Idaho
Cushman & Wakefield/Commerce added four new members to its Boise, Idaho team.
Kâren Sander joined Cushman & Wakefield/Commerce as the new downtown office and retail specialist, where she will support and lead the Boise team in building relationships with prospective and existing clients throughout Boise’s downtown commercial real estate market.
Previously, Sander worked for the Downtown Boise Business Improvement District, where she worked with organizations and businesses to create and implement plans promoting economic and community benefits for downtown Boise.
Rhonda Garland joined as investment specialist director. Prior to this Garland worked for Investment Analytics Group LLC as managing principal, where she oversaw management leasing, financing, contract negotiation, strategic planning and company and tenant entity administration for multiple clients and real estate portfolios.
James Stewart joined the Cushman & Wakefield/Commerce Boise location as retail specialist director. Previously, Stewart taught undergraduate marketing courses where he assisted in the development of curriculum for a new marketing course, Retail Marketing. He also managed 12 company-owned Starbucks coffeehouses.
Laura Morrison joined the firm as a dedicated retail brokerage assistant. Previously, she worked with CBRE as senior project coordinator for Chevron and global knowledge manager and senior project coordinator for Google.
