Vikser Joins Hunt Mortgage Group as Managing Director

Hunt Mortgage Group, New York, hired Doug Vikser as Managing Director based in El Segundo, Calif.

As a member of the firm’s Proprietary Lending Team, Vikser will focus on generating business for the firm’s commercial floating-rate bridge program. Vikser’s previous experience includes senior positions at Terra Capital Partners and MSD Capital as well as Managing Director/Portfolio Manager for a bridge loan debt fund at Prudential Mortgage Capital, where he originated bridge and mezzanine loans nationwide.

Walker & Dunlop Hires Reinauer as FHFA Increases 2016 Multifamily Lending Caps
Walker & Dunlop, Bethesda, Md., hired Hal Reinauer as vice president in its Multifamily Finance Group.

Reinauer will focus on originating Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac loans out of the company’s Boston office. His most recent position was production director at Holliday Fenoglio Fowler where he was an in-house expert on multifamily financing. He previously served as an originations director at Arbor Commercial Mortgage LLC and as a senior underwriter for Fannie Mae.

Though he currently concentrates on GSE loan originations, Reinauer also holds experience originating FHA, commercial mortgage-backed securities, bridge, mezzanine and preferred equity transactions nationwide.

NGKF Hires Chodos as Executive Vice Chairman
Newmark Grubb Knight Frank said Bob Chodos will join the firm as executive vice chairman. Chodos will join NGKF’s Chicago office and will focus on growing the NGKF brand in tenant representation and occupier services in the midwest region and nationally.

Prior to joining NGKF, Chodos was a principal and executive vice president of Colliers International, where he spent the past eleven years. At Colliers, he was chairman of the Colliers Tenant Rep Practice Group for the Americas, which is made up of top-tier tenant representatives in more than 25 offices around the U.S., Canada and Latin America.

Prior to joining Colliers in 2005, Chodos also spent 15 years as a principal with The John Buck Co. in the Strategic Advisory Group, which specialized in strategic consulting and tenant/user representation. He began his career in Chicago in 1980 with Realsource, Inc., formerly known as Irvine Associates.
