Arbor Appoints Casey Senior Vice President, Chief Underwriter
Arbor Realty Trust, Uniondale, N.Y., appointed Brad Casey Senior Vice President and Chief Underwriter in its Dallas office.
Casey will oversee the daily underwriting of Arbor’s growing agency platform, as well as developing, sustaining and enforcing the firm’s credit policy with respect to the agencies’ guidelines.
Prior to Arbor, Casey was the Vice President and Deputy Chief Underwriter for PNC Real Estate. He also worked for ARCS Commercial Mortgage Co., which held the number one Fannie Mae DUS lender title for several years. Earlier in his career, he worked for Washington Mutual and Orix Capital Markets.
Amherst Capital Expands Originations Team with Boyar
Amherst Capital Management LLC added Gabriel Boyar to its originations team. He will serve as a Managing Director with a focus on sourcing senior loan opportunities on CRE assets nationwide.
Boyar most recently served as Founder and Managing Principal of Columbia River Capital Advisors, where he advised a large family office and third parties on equity and debt transactions. He previously held senior positions at CapitalSource and UBS.
Colliers International Appoints Former Canadian Prime Minister Harper to Board of Directors
Colliers International Group appointed Canada’s recently retired 22nd Prime Minister, Stephen Harper, to its Board of Directors, effective immediately.
Harper retired as a Member of Parliament. From 2006 to 2015, he served as Prime Minister of Canada, during which time he entered into numerous international free trade agreements and led the Canadian economy through the 2008 global financial crisis.
Colliers Chairman and CEO Jay Hennick said Harper brings the experience of a former G7 leader as the firm works to expand its business around the world.
