HomeStreet Promotes Endresen to Lead Combined Commercial Real Estate Division

HomeStreet Commercial Real Estate named Bill Endresen Executive Vice President of Commercial Real Estate.

Endresen replaces Randy Daniels, who resigned to pursue other interests.

Endresen joined HomeStreet Bank in March 2015 as Executive Vice President of HomeStreet Commercial Capital, which provides permanent financing for multifamily, office, retail and industrial loans up to $10 million in size.

Hunt Mortgage Group Hires Timothy Hoppin to Expand its Affordable Housing Team
Hunt Mortgage Group, New York, hired Timothy Hoppin as Director in its affordable housing group, based in Denver.

Hoppin will focus on sourcing and originating affordable housing loans nationwide. He joined Hunt Mortgage Group from Citigroup Corporate and Investment Bank where he was a Vice President. While at Citi, Hoppin closed over $300 million of taxable and tax-exempt debt with for profit developers, non-profits and housing authorities.

Prior to Citi, Hoppin was on the commercial real estate acquisitions team for Baceline Investments LLC and served as Vice President of Underwriting at Newman & Assocs., which was acquired by Citigroup Corporate and Investment Bank.

Galayda joins Avison Young in Detroit
Avison Young announced that real estate sales person Chad Galayda joined the firm in Detroit.

Galayda joined as a Principal and will continue to represent clients in the leasing, acquisition, disposition and strategic planning of commercial real estate assets. He was most recently a senior director at Cushman & Wakefield in Chicago.

Galayda brings more than 20 years of commercial real estate experience to Avison Young. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield in 2011, he spent five years as a senior vice-president at Grubb & Ellis Co. after 10 years as a Vice President in the development and asset strategy group with Jones Lang LaSalle.

Over the course of his career, Galayda has been involved in real estate transactions with a combined value in excess of $1 billion, including leasing, acquisition and disposition assignments for many local and multinational companies. Past and current clients include: General Motors, 3M, Tenneco Corporation, BP, Morgan Stanley, Private Bank and US Solar Corp.
