Gershman Joins Gershman Mortgage

Gershman Mortgage, St. Louis, Mo., announced that Tom Gershman joined the company as a commercial loan officer. 

Tom Gershman has 10 years of experience in commercial real estate and three years in the mortgage industry. He works in the company’s multifamily division at corporate headquarters in Clayton, Mo. Prior to joining Gershman Mortgage, he worked for Callahan Capital Properties, Chicago, an institutional investor and operator of office and retail properties. During his time at CCP, the company was one of the largest investors of U.S. commercial real estate and Gershman worked on acquisitions totaling 4.7 million square feet and $1.5 billion in Chicago, Denver and New York City.

Gershman Mortgage also has multifamily branch offices in Chicago and Denver. The division arranged nearly $300 million in multifamily financing last year.

Pergola and Doherty Join CBRE/NE Capital Markets Team
CBRE/New England announced that David Pergola and Brian Doherty joined the firm’s capital markets team. Pergola will serve as an executive vice president and partner and Doherty as a senior vice president and partner, focusing on office and industrial investment sales. They previously led the DTZ New England Capital Markets group.

Pergola has more than 20 years of experience in the greater Boston commercial real estate industry. Prior to joining DTZ, he led Cushman & Wakefield’s middle market investment sales group in Boston. Before that he was a Partner at Meredith & Grew (Colliers International).

Doherty joined DTZ in 2012 after serving as a director at Cushman & Wakefield for more than 10 years. He has worked closely with institutional and regional clients on office and industrial sales throughout New England.

Rabban Joins NBS
Ted Rabban joined Norris, Beggs & Simpson Financial Services, Portland, Ore.,  as vice president. His appointment is concurrent with the expansion of NBS Financial in the Phoenix market.

Rabban has more than 30 years of experience in commercial real estate. His career highlights include the initial development of the 175-acre Fountainhead Corporate Park, a one-million-square-foot mixed-use campus. Fountainhead Corporate Park offers Class A office, a resort hotel, 300 apartment units and serves as the Tempe operations center for State Farm Insurance.
