Greystone Promotes Briskman to Head of Loan Servicing Platform

Greystone, New York, promoted Sharon Briskman to executive vice president of servicing and asset management, assuming responsibility for Greystone’s $16 billion loan servicing platform. She succeeds Corporate Executive Vice President Mark Jarrell, who led the platform since 2010 and will now focus on Greystone’s non-agency lending businesses, including CMBS and bridge financing.

Briskman’s new role includes her existing duties of investor reporting and custodial accounting and adds leadership of asset management, loan administration, securities and documentation and customer care. She previously served as CFO of Greystone Servicing Corp. and has been a senior executive at Greystone since joining the firm in 2005.

Auction.com Hires Former Greenlight Loans Executive Hwang
Auction.com, Irvine, Calif., hired former Greenlight Loans executive Cho Hwang as vice president of commercial real estate operations.

With more than 13 years of experience, Hwang most recently served as vice president of strategic support at Greenlight Loans, a division of Nationstar, where he managed enterprise initiatives and implemented IT and process improvements across multiple sites. Prior to that, he served as senior manager of global service operations at Abbott Medical, process engineer at DaVita and project manager at Lending Tree.

Westfall Joins NorthMarq Capital
Doug Westfall joined NorthMarq Capital’s Denver office as senior vice president and producer. He will focus on commercial mortgage-backed securities, life insurance, retirement fund, FNMA/FHLMC and HUD commercial and multifamily mortgage originations and servicing.

Westfall previously served as director at Wells Fargo Multifamily Capital from 2007-2015, where he originated affordable housing permanent debt products including Wells Fargo balance sheet permanent debt products, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and HUD. Prior experience includes two years as senior vice president at Bulls Capital Partners, two years as senior vice president at GMAC Commercial Mortgage Affordable Housing, national director of affordable housing and national director of public finance at Freddie Mac and regional director of multifamily affordable housing products at Fannie Mae.
