Hunt Mortgage Group Adds Guttroff and Other News

Hunt Mortgage Group, New York, announced that Raymond (R.J.) Guttroff joined the firm as managing director based in the New York office. 

Guttroff will focus on loan production, with particular emphasis on Hunt Mortgage Group’s proprietary loan products.

Bill Hyman, senior managing director and chief production officer with Hunt, said the firm is expanding beyond its core agency lending business to provide a full range of commercial real estate finance services. To date, Hunt Mortgage Group’s Proprietary Loan Group has a firm and funded pipeline of $450 million.

Guttroff joins Hunt from Barclays where he was a director leading a national team of originators and underwriters. Earlier in his career he worked at a number of other financial and real estate institutions including Deutsche Bank Securities, Greystone & Co., Nomura Securities and UBS Warburg. 

Weinberg Promoted to Associate Vice President of Cushman & Wakefield’s DC Capital Markets Team
Cushman & Wakefield named Shaun Weinberg associate vice president of the firm’s Washington, D.C. region capital markets team.

Weinberg joins a team led by Vice Chairmen William Collins and Paul Collins that also includes Executive Managing Directors Drew Flood, James Cassidy and Jud Ryan and Executive Directors Eric Berkman and Steve Gichner. He joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2010. In his previous role as senior associate, he worked on all stages of the investment sales process including contributing to new-business proposals, asset underwriting and offering memoranda preparation.

Lee & Associates Promotes Batschelet to Principal

Lee & Assocs., Phoenix, promoted Pete Batschelet to principal. Batschelet began his career in commercial brokerage in 2006. In 2013, he joined Lee & Associates as an associate, reaching principal status in less than 2 years.
