Love Funding Hires Larisma

Love Funding, Washington, D.C., hired Lawrence Larisma as a director of loan originations.

Larisma will be located in Charlotte, N.C. He has firm nearly 20 years of experience in commercial real estate finance, most recently as a director at RED Capital Group in Charlotte and specializes in debt, equity and mezzanine financing for multifamily, senior housing and commercial real estate. He has originated and underwritten more than $1.3 billion in financing transactions.

Before RED Capital Group, Larisma founded and served as CEO of Reiles Capital Group, a capital advisory firm based in New York. He was also a senior originator and FHA MAP/LEAN Underwriter at Greystone & Co., a New York-based real estate investment banking firm, as well as its subsidiary, Greystone Funding Corp.

Jackson to Lead Marcus & Millichap Office and Industrial Investment Team in Jacksonville, Fla.

Marcus & Millichap hired office and industrial investment sales professional Randy Jackson in Jacksonville, Fla.

Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap, Jackson was president of a competing commercial real estate investment services brokerage. He has more than thirty years of investment property sales experience.

UDR Appoints Toomey Chairman of the Board; Klingbeil Lead Independent Director

Real estate investment trust UDR Inc., Denver, appointed current CEO and President Thomas Toomey Chairman of the Board of Directors effective January 1.

Toomey became the REIT’s CEO in 2001. He succeeds James Klingbeil, who has served as Chairman since 2010 and was named Lead Independent Director January 1.
