Grandbridge Names White to Lead BB&T Real Estate Finance
Grandbridge Real Estate Capital, Charlotte, named Gordon White III program director of BB&T Real Estate Funding, its on-balance-sheet debt-origination platform.
BBTREF provides permanent loans for stabilized commercial and multifamily real estate as well as bridge loans for commercial properties requiring structured debt solutions.
White previously served as senior vice president and market leader of Grandbridge’s Raleigh, N.C., loan origination office. He will replace retiring BBTREF Senior Vice President Kirk Booher.
White joined Grandbridge in 2009 as a senior credit and risk officer responsible for approval on all credit-retained agency and balance sheet loans. In late 2013 he joined BBTREF and developed its new commercial and multifamily fixed-rate loan product for stabilized commercial real estate. He and his team closed $1 billion in non-recourse commercial and multifamily 5- and 10-year fixed-rate loans in two years.
Keifer Joins Berkeley Point Capital as Senior Managing Director
Berkeley Point Capital added Eric Keifer as Senior Managing Director, Head of FHA, Affordable and Seniors Housing.
Keifer brings more than twenty years of commercial mortgage experience in the multifamily and healthcare arenas. Prior to Berkeley Point, he was General Counsel and Senior Vice President at Rockport Mortgage Corp., where he oversaw all HUD-insured multifamily and healthcare closings from loan commitment through securitization and provided strategic guidance in the structuring of a broad range of transactions encompassing all aspects of FHA-insured financing and affordable housing. Prior to that, he worked at Berkadia and Capmark.
Hunt Mortgage Group Opens New Office in Washington, D.C.
Hunt Mortgage Group, New York, opened a new office in Washington, D.C.
Bryan Cullen, Hunt Mortgage Group Managing Director, will relocate his team from Tysons Corner, Va. to northwest Washington.
The new office will occupy 888 17th Street NW, Suite 300. It will originate Freddie and Fannie Mae loans including small-balance loans as well as bridge financing and a new seven-year fixed-rate product through Hunt Mortgage Group’s Proprietary Loan Group.
