G.S. Wilcox & Co. Hires Logan, Wilcox
G.S. Wilcox & Co., Morristown, N.J., hired Rob Logan and Wesley Wilcox as Senior Associates. Both will support the origination and underwriting areas of the firm’s business.
Logan has a structured finance background, having spent nine years at ICAP in structured credit products followed by time on the real estate debt and structured finance team at Newmark Knight Frank.
Wilcox joined the firm after working in the capital markets group at CBRE in Saddlebrook, N.J. Before that, he was an analyst in the Finance and Futures Group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
CBRE Names Ardaiz Managing Director for Sacramento, Reno, Las Vegas
CBRE appointed Matt Ardaiz Managing Director of Asset Services for the Sacramento, Reno and Las Vegas markets.
In this role, Ardaiz will be responsible for nearly 46 million square feet of properties under management and 66 team members and 14 engineers. He replaces Gavin Farnam in this position. Farnam recently was promoted to Asset Services Retail Practice Leader for the Americas.
Ardaiz has held various positions since he joined CBRE Asset Services in 2002. Most recently, he served as Director in the Sacramento office where he was responsible for the overall performance of the market’s mixed portfolio of office, retail and industrial properties encompassing 18 million square feet in management assignments.
Fried Frank Adds Corporate Real Estate Partner Dowd in New York
Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP, New York, announced that Patrick Dowd joined the firm as a partner in the Corporate Real Estate Transactions Practice, based in its New York office.
Dowd represents clients in a variety of real estate transactions with a principal focus on acquisition and disposition transactions involving all types of real estate assets, including real estate operating companies, borrower-side financings and joint ventures. His client base is dominated by real estate funds and other real estate investors, including Blackstone, KKR and CBRE.
Finney Joins Avison Young in St. Louis 
Avison Young’s St Louis, Mo. office hired office leasing specialist Susan Finney as Principal of St. Louis operations. In this role, she will focus on landlord and tenant representation while expanding Avison Young’s footprint in the St. Louis metropolitan area. She will recruit the next generation of office leasing specialists in the local marketplace.
Finney brings more than 30 years of commercial real estate experience to Avison Young. During her career, she has negotiated office leasing transactions spanning more than 10 million square feet on behalf of tenants and landlords. Her clients include ASB Capital, Credit Suisse, Olymbec, BGK, Mastercard, Centene and GBA Architects/Engineers.
During her 15 years with The Siteman Organization, Finney served as Vice-President and managed a seven-building, 200-tenant office portfolio in the Clayton business district. Following her tenure with Siteman, she joined Insignia/ESG and, later, Colliers International, where she oversaw leasing and marketing for a wide range of suburban office portfolios for large national investors.
