Camps Appointed President of Love Funding
Jonathan Camps has been appointed President of Love Funding, a subsidiary of Midland States Bank.

Camps has spent the past 19 years in various management positions at Love Funding and most recently served as Senior Vice President. During the course of his tenure at Love Funding, he has been involved in every area of its operations, including serving as its Chief Underwriter for five years. He is certified as both a MAP and LEAN underwriter with HUD and has overseen the underwriting of more than 300 FHA transactions.

Shillington to lead Marcus & Millichap Capital Corp.
Marcus & Millichap, Calabasas, Calif., hired David (Dave) Shillington as President of its financing subsidiary, Marcus & Millichap Capital Corp.

Shillington has more than three decades of real estate lending and executive leadership experience. Prior to joining Marcus & Millichap, he served as Executive Vice President with KeyBank Real Estate Capital. Under his leadership, KeyBank’s Multifamily Capital Markets team grew into one of the largest agency lenders in the United States.

Shillington’s career also included managing director at Bank of America Securities and First Union National Bank where he built lending platforms covering all property types.

William Hughes, the former head of MMCC, earlier this year announced his plan to retire.

JLL Adds Cain to Global Funds Advisory platform
JLL Capital Markets announced that Jerry Cain joined the firm as Head of Global Funds Advisory in the Americas, based in New York.

Prior to joining JLL, Cain was a Director in Lazard Freres’ Private Capital Advisory Group, where he led the U.S. distribution effort and managed limited partner relationships on the East Coast and throughout the Midwest. In addition, he built relationships with North American general partners and real estate operators. Previously, he was with Harbert Management Corp., a Birmingham, Ala.-based independent global investment manager, where he focused on capital raising for U.S. and European funds and other real asset and private equity funds.
