Pacific Union International Hires Pugh
Pacific Union International, San Francisco, expanded its leadership team by hiring Stephen Pugh as President of its Commercial Real Estate division.
Pugh began my career at Pacific Union in 1989 as a commercial real estate professional. He joined Pacific Union from his position as President and CEO of Paragon Commercial Brokerage, San Francisco’s largest independently held commercial real estate firm.
In 2008 prior to joining Paragon Commercial Brokerage, Pugh was managing director for Alain Pinel Investment Group.
JVM Promotes Meyer to Chief Investment Officer and Kovich to CFO
JVM Realty Corp., Oak Brook, Ill. promoted Steve Meyer to chief investment officer and Jason Kovich to chief financial officer.
Meyer joined JVM in 2005 and served as the company’s CFO for 13 years. In his new title, he will oversee JVM’s expanding Investor Relations Department as well as its newly licensed broker-dealer entity, JVM Securities LLC. He will have responsibility for securing the financing and equity requirements necessary to meet JVM’s aggressive long-term portfolio growth goals, and he will play a strategic role in structuring and managing JVM investments.
As CFO, Kovich will oversee the financial management, tracking and reporting for all JVM properties and entities. He joined the company in 2005 as a financial analyst and director of property management software. He subsequently served as an asset manager and controller before being promoted to vice president of finance in 2017. He developed JVM’s robust and sophisticated budgeting process as well as the company’s monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages.
Colliers International Hires Carris
Colliers International Group announced that Jim Carris joined the company as Executive Managing Director and Market Leader for its operations in Chicago.
In his new role, Carris will lead the Colliers team in Chicago and advise investors, corporate users and landlords across the full spectrum of commercial real estate transactions.
Carris will partner with Colliers Chicago COO Phil Stafford and the existing leadership team to continue to drive the company’s growth objectives. He has more than 25 years of experience in all sectors of commercial real estate, including brokerage, development, acquisitions and construction.
