Fraker to Lead CBRE Global Industrial and Logistics
CBRE Group, Los Angeles, promoted Jack Fraker to Managing Director of Global Industrial & Logistics.

Fraker will now integrate the CBRE Capital Markets industrial and logistics vertical globally, in addition to leading the practice in the United States.

Based in Dallas, Fraker will continue to serve as the head of business development and portfolio sales for CBRE’s National Partners and will retain his client relationship

Institutional Property Advisors Names Szady National Director, Hires Binkowski 

Institutional Property Advisors named Kenneth Szady a national director. He will lead IPA’s office and industrial sectors nationally.

A veteran investment broker and real estate executive with more than 25 years of experience, Szady will represent and coordinate the firm’s institutional, corporate and major private clients on office and industrial transactions regionally and nationwide.

Szady will work from IPA’s Chicago office. He has led and transacted over $9 billion of office, industrial and investment transactions nationwide during his career. Prior to being appointed national director of Marcus & Millichap’s Institutional Property Advisors, he was executive managing director of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank’s Capital Markets division representing institutional, corporate and major private clients in property and note sales, joint venture equity structures, debt placement and corporate sale/leaseback transactions. He has also held senior leadership positions with Cushman & Wakefield, Trammell Crow Company and Jones Lang LaSalle.

Institutional Property Advisors Capital Markets also hired Erik Binkowski as a senior director in its Washington, D.C. office.

Binkowski will arrange senior and bridge financings as a commercial real estate capital advisor on behalf of institutional, middle-market and private clients in the Mid-Atlantic and southeastern offices. He joins IPA Capital Markets with 16 years capital markets experience and has sourced over $8.4 billion in various types of commercial debt.
Before joining IPA Capital Markets, Binkowski served for three years as vice president of CBRE’s Debt & Structured Finance Group in Washington, D.C., where his team closed more than $2.4 billion in transactions in 2015. He began his career at Goldman Sachs managing more than $4 billion in CMBS loan originations and held similar positions at The Carlyle Group, HFF, Spaulding & Slye and Studley throughout his career, which has allowed him to understand the real estate industry from various aspects.
Binkowski has experience managing, financing and structuring various types of transactions including REIT mergers and acquisitions, CMBS bond offerings, development projects and FIRPTA tax restructurings.
