Dealmaker: Greystone Provides $294M for Multifamily, Senior Housing Portfolios
Greystone, New York, originated $294.2 million in Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae financing for apartment and senior housing portfolios.
The firm provided $179.2 million in Freddie Mac loans for Watermark Residential to refinance four multifamily properties totaling 1,188 units. Greystone Director PJ McDevitt arranged the financing and 3G Capital Advisors Co-Founder and CEO advised Watermark in the transaction.
The properties included Watermark at Steele Crossing in Fayetteville, Ark., Watermark on Harvest Junction in Longmont, Colo., Watermark on Twenty Mile in Parker, Colo. And The Ranch at Sienna Plantation in Missouri City, Texas.
Each Freddie Mac conventional loans all carried 15-year terms with a fixed interest rate and 30-year amortization as well as seven years of interest-only payments.
Greystone also provided $115 million in Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae Shariah-compliant financing for a six-asset senior housing portfolio. Director Cary Tremper originated the financing for Madison Marquette, GFH Capital and operating partners SRG Senior Living and JEA Senior Living.
Located in California, Michigan and Washington, the 509-unit, 589-bed portfolio included an independent living community, two assisted living communities and three memory-care communities.
