MBANow: Sara Singhas on New MBA Disaster Recovery Guide

The Mortgage Bankers Association released a new MBANow video featuring MBA Associate Regulatory Counsel Sara Singhas, who discusses the new MBA Disaster Recovery Resource Guide.

The guide, provided free through MBA members, is designed to be a resource for homeowners to prepare for and recover from natural disasters. MBA developed the guide in the wake of the devastating 2017 hurricane season, as well as wildfires that took place in California.  

“We’re hoping [the Guide] becomes part of our members’ customer support toolkit,” Singhas said. “They are free to use it in any way they see fit, whether they put it on their website or send it directly to their customers.” She added MBA members can “co-brand” the guide.  

MBA is distributing the guide to its members, as well as state governors’ offices and state and local disaster relief agencies.
