Sagent Introduces Attorney Portal

Sagent, King of Prussia, Pa., launched its Dara Attorney Portal to enhance efficiency between servicers and attorney partners. It’s the latest addition to the Dara Default product.

It integrates law firms and mortgage servicers by enabling lawyers to manage foreclosure and default processes in a shared interface with real-time data, document management and messaging, allowing servicers to reduce costs and improve experience during the default process.

Features include a unified login, enhanced dashboard, improved document management, real-time data access and automation and integration of workflows.  

It is available to attorneys who represent Sagent clients.

Maxwell Launches QuickPricer

Maxwell, Denver, announced the addition of QuickPricer within the Maxwell Point of Sale. The new tool will empower loan officers to educate consumers easily with personalized loan product and pricing scenarios.

QuickPricer can integrate with all leading pricing engines, mortgage insurance providers, fee engines and credit reporting agencies to ensure instant access to accurate pricing and product data. Within the POS, loan officers can input basic borrower information and generate customized loan options to share with their borrowers.

QuickPricer provides loan comparison cards for borrowers to view and advanced filtering options for loan officers, among other features.

Union Home Mortgage Adds Servicing AI Chat Feature

Union Home Mortgage, Strongsville, Ohio, released a new AI live chat feature, “Chat with Mia” for its online servicing portal. The portal is used by about 85% of Union Home’s servicing portfolio.

Chat with Mia is available for common requests such as reviewing recent escrow disbursements, retrieving payment details after a recent escrow analysis, accessing resources or insurance claims or finding important documents such as Form 1098 year-end tax statements.

Union Home Mortgage noted its servicing team is still ready to assist those who need a human touch–the combination will allow shorter call times and faster service, the company said.

United Wholesale Mortgage Taps ICE Mortgage Technology

United Wholesale Mortgage, Pontiac, Mich., has selected Intercontinental Exchange Inc., Atlanta, for a long-term agreement to license ICE Mortgage Technology’s MSP loan servicing system.

This will allow United Wholesale Mortgage to bring its servicing operations in-house. UWM pointed to MSP’s powerful features, scalability and capacity for customer service that fosters borrower retention.

As part of the implementation of MSP, UWM will deploy ICE Servicing Digital, ICE Loss Mitigation, ICE Customer Service, ICE Automated Lien Release and ICE’s Servicing APIs.

Autoagent Releases Results of Survey on Escrow Management                                

Autoagent, Boca Raton, Fla., released the results of a recent survey it conducted, aiming to gauge the challenges faced by mortgage lenders in managing escrow tax payments and their interactions with sub-servicers.

Rising costs, staffing limitations, regulatory compliance and inefficient processes were flagged as major hurdles in managing escrow-related payments among the 2,500 mortgage industry executives surveyed.
