JLL Announces Personnel Updates

JLL, Chicago, has named Kevin MacKenzie as President, Americas Capital Markets, effective Jan. 1.

He will succeed Jody Thornton, who will assume the role of Executive Chairman, Americas Capital Markets.

MacKenzie began with JLL since 2004 and has held a number of roles in the firm. Most recently he was Head of Production for JLL Capital Markets.

JLL also announced its Value and Risk Advisory platform has added Corey Gustafson as an Executive Managing Director–Head of Core Four, overseeing the national property sectors of office, retail, industrial and multi-housing.

Gustafson will be responsible for driving growth of each sector and managing client relationships, along with other responsibilities.

He has more than 22 years of valuation experience at various companies, including at CBRE.

CBRE Adds Vanessa Williams as Arizona Market Leader

CBRE, Dallas, has hired Vanessa Williams as Arizona Market Leader and Senior Managing Director.

She will oversee Arizona business operations and drive growth strategy for all Advisory Service lines.

With nearly two decades of industry experience, she most recently was Senior Director of Business Development and Marketing for Colliers’ West Region. She has also worked for Cushman & Wakefield.

Merchants Bank Announces Addition of John Forssander

Merchants Bank, Carmel, Ind., announced the hiring of John Forssander as a Mortgage Loan Originator for Merchants Mortgage.

Forssander will advise clients and potential customers on their home financing needs.

He has more than 25 years of experience and most recently served as a Senior Mortgage Advisor at ACB mortgage Group. He also has worked for U.S. Bank.
