–Tell us a little about yourself
With 15 years of experience in the mortgage industry, I’ve navigated various operational roles, starting from a small hometown bank, and working my way up. My journey has been filled with learning, growth, and a lot of coffee!
As a wife and proud mother of three, I juggle my professional and personal life with a mix of determination and a dash of humor. When I’m not crunching numbers or streamlining processes, you’ll find me outdoors, soaking up nature and enjoying adventures with my family. I’m passionate about delivering top-notch service and support to our borrowers, using my extensive industry knowledge to make the mortgage process as smooth as possible.
My career path is a testament to hard work, perseverance, and a lot of love for what I do.
–How did you learn about the MBA Path to Diversity Program? What inspired you to become more involved?
Getting more involved in the education and growth of the mortgage industry is like being a superhero for aspiring homeowners! My CEO knows this and has encouraged me to continue my education with MBA. With his guidance and a coworker’s knowledge of the Path to Diversity Program, it was an easy choice.
By diving into the ins and outs of the industry, I can help more people achieve their dreams of owning a home and living their best lives.
–Did you find the application process to be user-friendly?
I couldn’t believe how easy it was to apply for the scholarship! The process was a breeze. Everything was super organized, and I received clear instructions every step of the way. Overall, the application process was a stress-free experience, allowing me to focus on highlighting my achievements and aspirations without being overwhelmed by unnecessary complexities.
–How has the Path to Diversity scholarship benefited you, personally and professionally? What have you been able to bring back to your company as a result of the Path to Diversity program?
Personally, the financial assistance provided by the scholarship has contributed to a more positive and fulfilling experience, allowing me to engage in academic pursuits and explore various interests fully. Professionally, the scholarship has opened doors to networking opportunities and career resources that will be instrumental. It has empowered me to pursue advanced studies and gain valuable skills directly applicable to my career.
