America’s Unsold Homes Hit Grim Milestone

There are 102,000 new completed homes on the U.S. market ready to be occupied, according to the latest data from the U.S. Census Bureau, 50 percent more than were available last year. But while the U.S. housing market is still chronically short of supply, sales for newly built homes are dropping, as figures show.
