Gantry’s Thomas Grzebinski II Selected for New York State Board of Real Estate
Gantry, New York, announced that Senior Director Thomas Grzebinski II was selected to serve on the New York State Board of Real Estate.
Grzebinski has more than three decades of dedicated experience in real estate, finance and banking across a range of commercial and multifamily residential asset classes. His current term will last from 2024-2026.
The New York State Board of Real Estate consists of fifteen members, including the New York Secretary of State; New York Superintendent of the Department of Financial Services; and thirteen appointed members.
Matt Newton Joins M&T RCC
M&T Realty Capital Corp., Baltimore, announced the addition of Matt Newton as a Managing Director in the Boston office.
Newton will be responsible for nationwide loan origination leveraging all capital sources including Agency, FHA, life companies, debt funds and M&T Bank capabilities.
He most recently worked for Walker & Dunlop as a Senior Director, and has more than a decade of experience in commercial real estate lending.

Pace Loan Group Adds Loren Biller for New York Office
Pace Loan Group, Minneapolis, announced it added Loren Biller as Senior Vice President.
Biller has more than 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate space. Most recently he was Vice President of Originations at OWS Real Estate Finance.
Biller will serve property owners and developers in the New York metropolitan area; Pace Loan Group also announced it has opened a New York office.
Merchants Capital Promotes Evan Gibson
Merchants Capital, Carmel, Ind., has promoted Evan Gibson to Executive Vice President, Capital Markets.
Gibson leads the platform, which creates liquidity and capital relief for Merchants Bank and aids Merchants Capital in providing innovative financing solutions for multifamily and affordable housing developments.
He was previously Senior Vice President, and originated the firm’s capital markets platform in 2020.
Hall Structured Finance’s Micah Fewin Promoted
Hall Structured Finance, Dallas, has promoted Micah Fewin to Director of Accounting.
Fewin will now be responsible for all aspects of accounting for the HSF portfolio.
He is a Certified Public Accountant.
