CBRE Announces Personnel News for DSF

CBRE, Dallas, announced James Millon as President of U.S. Debt and Structured Finance.

Additionally, CBRE announced Farhan Kabani joined the Debt and Structured Finance Team as an Executive Vice President focusing on financing solutions for middle market and private clients nationwide.

Millon will be responsible for steering CBRE’s DSF business in the U.S., and will be tasked with expanding its capabilities. He will assume his new post Nov. 1.

Millon most recently was Vice Chair and Co-Head of U.S. Large Loans, and first joined CBRE in 2016.

Kabani will be responsible for procuring debt and equity for commercial real estate middle market assets, including single-tenant and multi-tenant commercial properties. He was previously with Northmarq.

HUD Names Jen Larson Director of OAMPO

The United States Department of Housing and Urban Development announced Jen Larson was selected as the Director of the Multifamily Office of Asset Management and Portfolio Oversight.

Larson was previously Housing Senior Advisor in HUD’s Office of Recapitalization working primarily on the Green and Resilient Retrofit Program.

She has had a long history with HUD and in affordable housing, including with nonprofits and the United States Department of Agriculture.

JLL Welcomes Becky Gaston as Zoning National Practice Leader

JLL, Chicago, announced the addition of Becky Gaston as Zoning Department, Project Management Director for the Americas. She will focus on expanding the zoning line of services and leading day-to-day operations of the zoning team in zoning compliance reviews and related services.

Gaston joined JLL from CBRE, where she was the Zoning Department Director for more than three years.

She has spent 12 years in the industry, with experience in existing or proposed properties, including residential, office buildings, manufacturing and industrial facilities, warehouse and distribution centers and retail and restaurant properties.
