MISMO Releases Updated Reference Model Version 3.5 YAML Files

MISMO, the real estate finance industry’s standards organization, today announced that an updated set of Reference Model Version 3.5 YAML Files has reached “Candidate Recommendation” status, which means that it has been thoroughly reviewed by a wide range of organizations and industry participants and is available for use across the industry.

“The updated YAML file set makes corrections identified by our industry partners who used it with the initial API Toolkit release,” said David Coleman, President, MISMO. “MISMO members can use the MISMO GitHub to assist with any reviewing of the updated file set.”

The Reference Model 3.5 YAML file set is a representation of the MISMO XML Model, which conforms to the OpenAPI Specification in YAML format. It can be used in conjunction with the MISMO API Toolkit 1.1 to build APIs that take advantage of MISMO Standards to either create organization specific APIs or to take advantage of the API Specifications that have been built by MISMO Workgroups.
