Marcus & Millichap Promotes Jonathon McClellan, Kyle Baskin
Marcus & Millichap, Calabasas, Calif., announced the promotions of Jonathon McClellan and Kyle Baskin to executive managing directors.
Marcus & Millichap notes that’s the highest designation an investment professional at the firm can earn.
Over the past 15 years, McClellan and Baskin have brokered 651 MHC transactions located in 39 states and valued at $7 billion and have successfully represented public and private REITS, large and small private investment groups, and national lenders.
Berkadia Welcomes Andy Wimsatt
Berkadia, New York, has hired Andy Wimsatt as Senior Managing Director and Head of Berkadia Hotels & Hospitality.
With a 30-year career, he most recently was Managing Director of Eastdil Secured, where he focused on hotel equity and debt placement services.
He will be based in the Washington, D.C., metro office.
Alan Sperling Joins Northmarq’s Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Office
Northmarq, Minneapolis, announced Alan Sperling’s addition as Vice President in the Fort Lauderdale, Fla., office.
He has more than 25 years of experience in land acquisition and development and previously worked at Avison Young and Colliers International.
Sperling’s specialties include land use and zoning for commercial land parcels within multiple quickly growing markets in the state. He will source value-add multifamily products for redevelopment in growth areas throughout South Florida.
Chris Gandy Tapped to Lead JLL’s Salt Lake City Capital Markets Team
JLL, Chicago, announced Senior Managing Director Chris Gandy will lead its Salt Lake City Capital Markets team.
He will oversee the investment sales and debt and equity advisory platforms throughout the region.
Gandy has 15 years in the commercial real estate industry, including 13 years at JLL/HFF in the San Francisco office. Gandy is a Board Member of Housing Industry Fund and the Silicon Valley chapter of NAIOP, and an active member of Mortgage Bankers Association.
Gandy will work alongside Senior Director Phil Brierley and Director Cole Macadaeg, who currently focus on investment sales in the region.
