Enterprise Community Partners Names Shaun Donovan as CEO, President
Enterprise Community Partners, Columbia, Md., named Shaun Donovan its new CEO and President, effective Sept. 1.
Interim co-CEOs Lori Chatman and Drew Warshaw will continue to serve in their roles as president of Enterprise’s Capital division and chief operating officer, respectively.
Donovan has had a nearly 30-year career in the sector. He served in President Barack Obama’s cabinet for his entire term, as secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development from 2009 to 2014, and as director of the U.S. Office of Management and Budget from 2014 to 2017. He also was commissioner of the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development from 2004 to 2009 under Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
“Enterprise has in Shaun a leader who understands how to use the runway this organization has built as a catalyst for solving some of the toughest challenges this country has ever faced,” said Enterprise Board Vice Chair Phyllis Caldwell. “Drawing from his experience, Shaun understands the complex way promoting an affordable home intersects with transportation, workforce training, health, and the environment. He’s able to view the full picture of how these factors come together–and will bring that to bear at Enterprise.
Tom Sullivan Joins JLL’s Team in Boston
JLL Capital Markets, Chicago, announced the addition of Tom Sullivan as a Senior Managing Director in its Boston office.
Sullivan will focus on debt and equity advisory transactions throughout the Northeast as part of the Capital Markets group.
Previously, Sullivan worked with a global commercial real estate firm where he led the structured finance advisory for New England. He has handled more than $12 billion of debt and equity transactions across all asset types during his career.
CBRE Adds Multifamily Teams in Multiple Florida Markets
CBRE, Dallas, announced the addition of multifamily leading investment sales teams to CBRE Capital Markets in South Florida and separately in Central and North Florida.
Robert Given, Zach Sackley, Troy Ballard, Calum Weaver and Brad Capas will lead the South Florida team, which previously was part of Cushman Wakefield.
The unit will focus on institutional multifamily sales, land development sales, structured debt and equity finance, and private capital sales across South Florida. The team has closed more than $25 billion in multifamily transactions.
The Central and North Florida team, led by Denny St. Romain and Jubeen Vaghefi, will focus on institutional multifamily sales, land development sales, structured debt and equity finance, and private capital sales. It was also previously with Cushman Wakefield.
Merchants Bank of Indiana Announces Hiring of Pawel “Paul“ Jastrzebski
Merchants Bank of Indiana, Carmel, Ind., announced it hired Pawel “Paul” Jastrzebski as Vice President, Senior Business Development Officer for the Small Business Administration (SBA) Lending division.
He will be based in Denver and brings more than a decade of business development experience. Most recently on a professional and personal international sabbatical, he co-founded and served as Chief Talent Officer at Mintted.io, the first off-chain social digital token exchange platform of its kind.
Jastrzebski will use his small business experience and relationships to help craft strategies to generate, develop, and maintain new business for the Merchants Bank of Indiana. He will also be responsible for originating SBA 7(a) and 504 loans for clients nationwide.
Merchants Capital Welcomes Min Park
Min Park was announced as the latest Senior Vice President, Balance Sheet Construction, at Merchants Capital, Carmel, Ind.
Park is based out of the firm’s New York office and brings more than two decades of real estate finance and construction asset management experience to the role, having most recently served as a director at Citi Community Capital.
In addition to her previous role at Citi Community Capital, Park also worked at Hypo Real Estate Capital Corporation and Equity Office Properties.
