MISMO Webinar Feb. 22: FHFA Credit Scoring Changes–MISMO Takes Lead to Surface Impact to Industry
MISMO hosts a webinar, FHFA Credit Scoring Changes–MISMO Takes Lead to Surface Impact to Industry, on Wednesday, Feb. 22 from noon-1:00 p.m. ET.
In October the Federal Housing Finance Agency announced validation and approval of the FICO 10T and VantageScore 4.0 credit score models for use by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. At first glance the changes appear straight forward. Peel back a layer and it is evident that credit scores are used across the life cycle by just about every mortgage industry stakeholder. How might these changes impact your business? MISMO has initiated collaboration within the industry to answer this question.
On January 13, MISMO hosted 65+ industry professionals from across the real estate finance industry for the Credit Scoring Workshop in Delray Beach, Fla. The objective of the workshop was to identify parties impacted by the October 2022 FHFA credit scoring announcement and to surface and document potential operational, technology, and/or policy impacts, questions, and issues associated with the announcement. Information gathered during the workshop will be shared with FHFA, GSEs, and industry stakeholders to assist them in risk/impact assessments and implementation planning.
Join this webinar to learn the outcome of January’s Credit Scoring Workshop and how MISMO plans to continue to support the industry through the credit scoring changes.
