FHFA Promotes Naa Awaa Tagoe, Joshua Stallings, Chris Dickerson
The Federal Housing Finance Agency promoted three employees to its executive staff. Naa Awaa Tagoe will serve as the Deputy Director for the Division of Housing Mission and Goals; Joshua Stallings will become Deputy Director for the Division of Bank Regulation; and Chris Dickerson will continue in his role as Senior Advisor to the Director in a permanent capacity.
Naa Awaa Tagoe has served as Acting Deputy Director of DHMG since June 2021. Previously she was Principal Associate Director in the Office of Capital Policy within DHMG. Prior to joining FHFA’s predecessor agency—the Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight (OFHEO)—in 2003, she held positions with Bear Stearns and Houlihan Lokey.
Joshua Stallings (no photo available) is currently Examiner-in-Charge of the Office of Fannie Mae Examinations within the Division of Enterprise Regulation. Previously he served as the Examiner-in-Charge of the Office of Freddie Mac Examinations as well as the Boston and Cincinnati FHLBanks. He began his supervisory career with the Office of Thrift Supervision.
Chris Dickerson served as FHFA’s first Deputy Director of DER upon its founding in 2008. Since then, he has held numerous leadership positions throughout his tenure at FHFA, including Examiner-in-Charge of Freddie Mac and Special Supervision Advisor in DER. Prior to FHFA, he spent 11 years at OFHEO serving as Director of Supervision and as Chief Compliance Examiner.
Fannie Mae Appoints Cissy Yang Chief Audit Executive
Fannie Mae, Washington, D.C., appointed Cissy Yang as Senior Vice President and Chief Audit Executive. She will be a member of Fannie Mae’s Management Committee and will report to the Board of Directors and administratively to the President and Interim Chief Executive Officer (CEO). She will be responsible for leading the company’s audit strategy, including internal controls, operational processes and key risks assessments.
With 25 years of experience spanning both internal and external audit across the financial services sector, Yang (photo not available) has led multi-disciplinary teams and developed effective internal control and audit frameworks across large financial institutions. She will replace J. Douglas Watt, Fannie Mae’s current Senior Vice President and Chief Audit Executive, who will retire in November. She most recently served as Head of Audit for Investment Banking Fixed Income, U.S. Legal Entities, and Americas Compliance at Credit Suisse, where she held various senior roles. Prior to her time at Credit Suisse, Yang worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers and Arthur Andersen.
Lone Peak Lending Joins Panorama Mortgage Group, Names Donovan Stamps President
Panorama Mortgage Group, Las Vegas, announced Lone Peak Lending joined the PMG family and Donovan Stamps will lead the company as president.
A 27-year industry veteran, Stamps has held leadership roles where he positioned companies for growth through optimal results in productivity and operations.
Churchill Commercial Capital Names Ross W. Tieken Capital Producer
Churchill Commercial Capital Inc. Scottsdale, Ariz., hired Ross W. Tieken as a Capital Producer to originate debt and equity for commercial property buyers, owners, and developers.
Tieken comes to Churchill with a diverse 10+ year background in the private and public commercial real estate investment management industry. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Acquisitions at Avata, a proptech startup focused on acquiring medical, dental, and veterinary assets. He also held positions as Vice President of Asset Valuations for Capital Fund 1, a hard money lender focused on the Arizona, Texas, and Colorado markets; Director of Acquisitions & Asset Management at White Oak Healthcare MOB REIT; and Director of Asset Management with City Office REIT.
Falcon Capital Advisors Adds Walter Allen, Natisha Dawson; Promotes Ken Yoo
Falcon Capital Advisors, Alexandria, Va., hired industry veteran Walter Allen as its Managing Director; Natisha Dawson as its new Director of Finance; and promoted Ken Yoo to Chief Operating Officer.
Allen will be responsible for business development across Falcon’s major practice areas: financial institutions and government advisory services and its eMortgage consulting practice. He has more than 20 years of experience using technology to drive transformational business initiatives in both the government and private sector. Prior to joining Falcon, he was President of HouseAmp, a fintech company where he managed and oversaw all aspects of the operation. Prior to HouseAmp, he spent nearly 13 years with CoreLogic, most recently as Vice President of Government Solutions. Earlier, he was Vice President of Global Capital Markets where he oversaw a team of product specialists and subject matter experts focused on key financial services customers and the Rating Agencies.
Dawson brings more than 20 years of finance and leadership expertise. As Director of Finance, she will be responsible for leading all finance and accounting matters in the firm. Prior to joining Falcon, she was the Founder & Chief Financial Officer of The Griffin Way, a firm designed to provide outsourced finance and accounting services to small- and mid-sized businesses. Previously, she held executive financial roles at large, global marketing, public relations and communications firms.
As Chief Operating Officer, Yoo oversees Falcon’s daily operational and administrative functions, including daily operational supervision, strategic planning, M&A planning and integration, IT and physical infrastructure management, and governance/risk/compliance activities. He has more than 25 years of senior leadership experience in banking, housing finance, consulting risk management and regulatory oversight. During his tenure at Falcon, he has been responsible for managing teams, relationships and projects for both commercial and government agency clients.
InQlusion Mortgage Capital Joins Panorama Mortgage Group Brand Family, Names Jeremy Davis CEO
Panorama Mortgage Group, Las Vegas, announced InQlusion Mortgage Capital joined the PMG family and Jeremy Davis will lead the company as Chief Executive Officer.
For nearly 20 years, Davis has advocated for underserved communities. Just before joining PMG, he served as director of mortgage for FirstBank where he led the FirstBank Forward division – an initiative with a specific mission of bridging the homeownership gap that minorities face. Prior to that, he led similar successful expansions into new market territories for Synovus, Fifth Third Bank and JPMorgan Chase.
Adam Dembowitz joins JLL Valuation Advisory Group
JLL’s Valuation Advisory Group, Chicago, hired Adam Dembowitz as a Managing Director in its Denver office. He will focus on growth and expanding the group’s West Coast platform in Colorado and California.
Dembowitz joins JLL with nearly 20 years of real estate experience spanning valuation advisory, consulting, sales and leasing, construction administration, development, and property management. His deep breadth of experience also reaches across all property types, vacant land, and special purpose projects and includes a wide variety of clients, including property owners, law firms, municipalities, developers and financial institutions.
